Babinda Meat Mart recently took out the win at the Australian Meat Industry Council's annual Tropical Region Sausage King, Best Butchers Burger and Smallgoods competition, in the Leg Ham on the Bone category with our Traditional Smoked Ham.
We also came in third place, winning Bronze for our Traditional Smoked Bacon in the Bacon Rasher category!

Always amazing service...
Always amazing service and OMG the meat, the food yum! popped in today to order some beasts, lamb, pig and some goat! Had a busy arvo ahead so picked up a pre made Mrs Tooties lasagne to bang in the oven, Gotta say the kids were impressed. Do yourself a favour and grab something next time you stop by why not even make a trip grab some bbq delights see the sights and pick up a premade home cooked meal for when you get home

Nothing beats the smell of a local Butcher. If you know you know. A true measure of a strong community is. A good Butcher, and a good pie shop. And a good honest mechanic. Those in the know. Know that Babinda has it all.
I ordered a meat pack...
I ordered a meat pack from Babinda Meat Mart, the staff were so helpful and accommodating that we would be driving through back to Cairns with it. All the meat was lovely and the whole family loved the crumbed steak. I will be making a trip down to Babinda when we run out to pick up another bigger pack next time. Well worth the drive. 5 stars for service and product :).

You won't get a better Xmas ham than Tootie's or a nicer meatloaf than Wendy's..... great meat, great service and beautiful staff

The best butcher around. Customer service is always 5* even when they are busy (which is often). Great meat, great pies and other dishes made by Mrs Tootie too. Plus they stock the best Mungali creek ice cream!!!

Tried their Irish sausages excellent also Italian sausages loved the traditional feel of the shop also friendly helpful staff I am happy to drive from Cairns to Babinda just for my meat well done
